options and more opportunities and second the stimulation one experiences through
college education encourages one to think, ask questions, and explore new ideas,

A unique Programme that integrates employment exploration and preparation skills with personal self-investigation and development. The Programme is based on a holistic perspective and is committed to working with young adults who have a genuine interest in self-development and developing skills for both getting into a meaningful employment and staying there for the mutual benefit of the organization and self . Participants will also be able to address issues that can act as barriers to employment. This Programme provides participants with hands-on experiential learning. The life skills and work experience gained helps prepare them for entry into the workforce or for continued academic upgrading if they want to.

Government Skills for Work Projects:
a) Rajasthan Government came up with the objective to equip students with industry relevant skills and provide skilled manpower to organisations. Knowledge Horizon (a division of New
Horizons India Ltd.) is empanelled with Rajasthan Government to start their program ‘Skills
for Work’ in 8 nodal centres in 8 districts. This programme will help to reduce the existing gap
between the skills the industry need and the skills the students’ possess.
b) Rajasthan Mission on Livelihood, a body promoted by Rajasthan Government has tied up
with College Division of New Horizons to conduct Employability Skills Programme for
unemployed youth in 3 districts of Rajasthan.
c) APVCC (Andhra Pradesh Viklangula Cooperative Corporation), Hyderabad has empanelled
New Horizons to conduct Skills for Work programme for unemployed physically handicapped
students in Andhra Pradesh.
